| New Years Eve |

Well another year has come and within a few hours will be gone. According to my trusty cell phone the new year has already come and gone on the other side of the world. But tonight as we sit with loved ones and friends we will sit and talk oblvious to what is going on else where concerned only with our current surroundings. Don't forget our troops that are overseas protecting our oblvious state of mind while we whish well to others. Also the dreaded new years resolutions that we make and never keep. Those are a joke at best. how many times have we said to our selves oh this year I am going to go on a diet or this is the year that I am going to join a gym or quit smoking or any other countless lie that we all know we have no intentions of keeping. So from now on lets just say that our New Years resolution is not so much for our selves as it is for others. This year instead of being self centered lets just say that we are all going to be decent to one another or at least try instead of some bullshit self serving promise that will never be kept. My resolution this year is to not make resolutions, to be annoying as I can be to those who deserve it to speak my mind about shit that pisses me off and to make sure that if I have a valid point to make that that point is expressed. Pretty much what I do every day. So happy New Years to you and to yours and may it be safe prosperous and joyous but most of all Open minded and honest.

| Sounds of the Holidays |

Ok first and foremost if you haven't figured this out as of yet We are located in Florida no big surprise there so with that out of the way on with my rant.
If you live anywhere up north say from Maine to about Washington DC you know that Christmas is special time of year. Even the whinos don't seem to bring you down and your more likely to toss him a few bucks from your pocket than walk over him/her as if they were little more than a large obstruction. But in Florida it is not the same. The weather is mild no chance in hell of snow and if it does get cold enough every one complains. Well the holidays in Florida suck. No snow no snow days and you don't get the same feeling that you have up north. It starts right about Halloween and doesn't end till way after Easter. Then you have the blistering heat that would send the devil himself back to hell for some cooler air and to get out of the sun.
But this is not a gripe about the summers hellish heat at least not yet wait a few months for that..
But the holidays for the most part in my mind require snow or at least cold weather call me old fashioned but pink flamingos pulling Santas sleigh just don't cut it. That is obviously a Florida thing tacky as it may be but yet there are few houses sporting this blasphmey. But all in all its not that bad or is it ? Who knows all I know is that you don't decorate a palm tree with christmas lights Evergreens have that covered you don't have pink flamingos pulling santas sleigh reindeers have that job and you don't just go out and get a tan on Christmas day there is just something so wrong with that. So if your up north bitching about the cold and snow consider yourself lucky that the season fits the holiday where as here in the South it doesn't.

Well the original Florida Black Hole Project has come full circle in some ways. I always wanted an outlet to vent frustrations and running a site was just to time consuming. The site will stay up in its original location and URL but won't be updated anytime soon. I always try to find the easy way out of things and this was it for me.
So for now this will be where any info updates or insane rants will be published for the time being. If you don't like it well you can do what you do best go suck elsewhere.
